Abstract
Islam adheres to a specific form of exclusivism wherein it asserts that the only religion that is true and offers salvation is Islam. However, those who are unable to discover the true religion will not be punished; rather, they will either be retested or granted entry into Heaven based on their good deeds. According to this interpretation of Islamic exclusivism, the majority of people following other religions may not be deprived of salvation, as it appears that most people are unable to find the truth. Even regarding the minority of people who can find the true religion but either don't search for it or find it and then deny it, there is a possibility that after undergoing limited torment in Hell, they may be saved.
